"West Side Market" - A Cleveland Treasure

My awesome sister-in-law and I spent the afternoon at West Side Market in Cleveland yesterday. It had been over a year since I was there. I was reminded of how much I love it! The smells, the sights, the sounds… the food! We wondered around the market, a local book store, and an art gallery. We then had coffee at a quaint old place that could never be defined anything less than “timeless.” Among our purchases were: 1. Dried fruit (a personal favorite of mine) 2. Fresh bread 3. Cheese 4. Black Current Tea 5. Biscotti 6. Fresh Pasta (which Jaime bought) and 7. Books (also a purchase of Jaime) Most of all - I loved spending time with my sis-in-law.

  1. I haven't been to West Side Market since I was a kid! My dad used to take me there every weekend. Thanks for the memories. :)

  3. My younger brother was on Channel 5 when he was three or four because they were doing an unrelated story and he was by the crew with his face painted with chocolate eclair.

We were so poor at the time we could only afford veggies one week and fruit the next.

I remember the West Side Market fondly. And now, you can walk across the street and get some Edmund Fitzgerald Porter from Great Lakes Brewery for the complete Cleveland experience.

Pictures were amazing, by the way!
